ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey
American Land Title Association (A.L.T.A.) surveys are typically ordered by a bank, lending institution or title company. The purpose of this type of survey is to insure title to the subject property and the real property in question is free and clear of all survey matters except those disclosed by a survey and shown on a map.

Boundary Surveying
Boundary Surveying relates to the determination of property corners and lines of a parcel of land described in a deed.

Construction Survey
Surveyors are often contracted to perform a construction survey for the purpose of providing staking for new buildings, building sites, additions to buildings, road layout, utility staking, etc.

FEMA Elevation Certificate
FEMA stands for Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA surveys are often required by mortgage lenders and insurance companies. This type of survey requires a field survey of a property to establish elevations around a structure, including finished floor elevations along with elevations adjacent to structures.

Minor Land Division
In March, 2005, Pima County adopted ordinance 2005-34 which requires a landowner to obtain a Minor Lands Permit (MLD) before the lands can legally be split.

Topographic Survey and Mapping
The purpose of a topographic survey and topographic mapping is to gather horizontal and vertical data about the natural and/or man-made features of a property. Alta Land Surveyor's perform the surveys in the field by taking a “shot” on the ground or the surface of hardscape items and transfer these to CADD.
